Sam Hanna Sam is something of a big brother to Kensi. He constantly teases her about her love life, as well as her lifestyle. Sam, though, is the first to praise her, and the last to get mad at her. Sam and G always look out for their little sister, although she's very capable of doing this herself, the two of them will always have her back.

NCIS Los Angeles 4x24. Kensi and Deeks. First kiss

But it's not only this way, but the other way around as well. Sam and Callen can always count on Kensi to have their backs. Dominic Vail Kensi was Dom's first partner, though it is insinuated that she herself had one other partner before he arrived. She acted as something of a mentor to Dom due to him being a brand new agent, and took his death the hardest among everyone. Marty Deeks Deeks and Kensi share a complicated partnership due to the fact that Kensi is the more experienced of the two, and also because Deeks permanently replaced Kensi's deceased partner, Dominic Vail.

Despite this they do care for each other, although they tend to get on each other's nerves at times. There have even been hints that Deeks and Kensi are romantically interested in one another, and there has been constant continuous moments during which they have flirted with each other and have come close to have romantic contact, although they both strongly deny it.

Despite this, they share their first kiss, but Kensi says that it was just to save their cover, and that it meant nothing. Deeks admits to Kensi that she was the one person he thought of through his torture after being captured, thus saving his life by keeping him going. This detail leaves her clearly emotional. The two resume their usual friendship after a bit, until Deeks takes her out on a date, without actually telling her it was a date. Kensi says he is back to his original problem with poor communication skills and tells him to say something that he actually means, because if they can't communicate then things won't work between them.

Deeks finally tells her that he didn't want to be there with her. Kensi appears confused before he says that he wants to be with her at his place right now. Kensi stares at him for a moment, clearly thinking about what to do, before she gets up and walks away from the table as Deeks takes a breath before following after her.

It is implied that Deeks and Kensi spent the night together when Deeks is at work early on and won't make eye contact or talk to anyone. Sam also notices as Kensi walks in that she is wearing the same outfit she had on the day before, leaving her flustered.

When they get called for a mission, Sam and Callen watch as Deeks and Kensi awkwardly walk out of the room, unable to look each other in the eye. This changes when Kensi is unexpectedly reassigned to Afghanistan on a confidential assignment following a man called The White Ghost.

While in Afghanistan, when the team get a joint case after an NCIS agent was killed undercover while tracking a ancient money system, and when the times come when Kensi and Deeks get to see each other for the first time over the internet after their separation, they both become nervous and try to make themselves look nice, but both times the other was not present.

Upon her return, though, there is still a little bit of tension between the two because of Kensi's confrontation with her ex-fiancee. The most notable thing about "Densi" is the new start of their relationship, in Humbug, where they stated they are going to stop playing games and go "All in. He converted to Islam and lived in a small village.

After being captured while looking for Jack they reunite. Jack tells her of his new found religion, his new wife and child and how his wife was killed in a drone strike. He tells Kensi, he only co-operated enough to keep his village safe and did not want revenge as he believes no one wins in war. She has a distinguishable birthmark in her right eye, called the nevus of Ota. Her left eye is hazel, and her right eye is brownish-black, with a black film over the entire white part of the eye and it has no effect of any kind on her vision.

Kensi admitted that before she became an NCIS: OSP Agent, she had always wanted to be a bounty hunter. Hetty told me that I could trust you, all of you. Yeah, maybe if you woulda asked for help instead of just throwing us under a bus- Sam: She beat a restrained prisoner and then made us a part of it.

Look at his face! She did that to expedite an interrogation.

Detective Deeks this is between me and Agent Callen. This is about his character. You need that power, you just desperately need that power- Mosley: You are fired Detective Deeks. Go back to LAPD. You sure about that? You wanna fire the person that can testify against you for what you did to Miguel Reyes- Mosley: You better get outta my face.

Deeks is fantastic, never backing down from Mosley, even threatening her. My jaw dropped when she fired him. She completely fails to understand how to lead, and what makes this team so special.

How does she think the remaining team members will react to this kind of aggression? First he expresses frustration with Callen for keeping secrets. It puts his concerns over her behavior in a different light, for he did the exact same thing to find the person he cared about most in this world. With the cleric, he quickly realized his behavior was wrong; he stopped and immediately took measures to show kindness towards that horrible man.

He worked with a terrible partner who poured hot coffee on a suspect, and he reported it. He can stop it, or try anyway. He tries to make up for it later when he apologizes, but Mosley is so livid at being called out in front of the others that she can only exercise her power further by having him physically removed from the building. Could this scene have been any more intense? Only this was so much rawer, the emotions were so much higher. Their conversation about sons was outstanding as well: The intensity might have dropped a notch in the second hour, but I enjoyed having a moment to laugh out loud with this conversation: When were you gonna tell me that Deeks is in Mexico with the others?

Please Linda Hunt, come back next year! Their two big talks really played as one extended discussion, interrupted only by Mosley and her hatefulness. We started in the bullpen… Deeks: I mean, we keep talking about trying to find a time to get out. But I like working with you. Yes, it is a part of who we are. A part that I happen to love.

This kid is flying around in Lear jets with nannies. This is a custody case. He was kidnapped by his dad, a violent felon who ordered the murder of a federal agent. Sam almost died today. And anything can happen down there. I mean the truth is, this kid could stay down there.

He could go to private schools and college and have an amazing life. Or, my soon-to-be-wife could be killed while trying to get him on a helicopter, and for what?

That woman has nothing but anger and pain. Can you imag- Deeks: Deeks wants to use his firing as a reason to launch them both to safety and into his happily ever after plans, but Kensi decisively shoots that idea down. Deeks takes another tack, bringing up what happened to Sam and how he worries about her going to Mexico.

Knowing that Kensi is about to lose her joy and her future about three minutes later makes rewatching this conversation even worse the second time around.

Again, not a smart choice from Mosley, given that Kensi is one of three able-bodied agents willing to help her out.

It is why it rates as an Essential Episode. It also marks the first time the junior agents go undercover together for a longer time and as a married couple. I hope we have Dr. Phil on speed dial. The episode opens with Deeks, his nose a-twitching, asleep in bed, alone.

Who leaves this guy in a bed alone? Kensi, girl we need to talk. I would also like to point out, Deeks is looking really hot sporting that wedding band. Okay, we all have things that catch our attention, make our heart skip a beat. Mine is seeing a husband wearing his wedding band. Even if he is a fake husband, in a white tee shirt and pajama bottoms with styled by pillow hair. Walking away but doing it slow so he can come after me.

Deeks and Kensi are undercover as Melissa and Justin Warren. They are house sitting in a gated community to hopefully flush out a Russian sleeper agent.

Deeks has been doing undercover work, in long stretches, for quite sometime. Kensi has done mostly one-offs, quick situational stuff, but to the best of our knowledge, nothing sustained.

What could possibly go wrong? You never really know someone until you pick up their socks… … or expect them to know how to vacuum?

They say opposites attract. So we we go with NCIS: Deeks is Felix and Kensi is Oscar. I remember an interview with Eric and Sarah where she went on about his obsession with vacuuming, so maybe art imitates life here?

He can certainly come clean my house. I may turn up the heat so that he might have to do it shirtless. However, this makes me wish they had showed him vacuuming but the jogging scene that happens later works well enough too. Or more precisely, warn them about the pitfalls of working in close quarters with a co-worker. Have you done something wrong? That could be trick question. Not that we know of. I mean that he and I…? It should be noted that the whole time during this conversation, Kensi is furiously playing with her ring set.

I wonder what Nate would think? I really miss Nate. Where are the shrinks when you need them? After visiting their boss, our happy couple is sent back to the undercover house. Well, Kensi goes, Deeks is a dream husband and goes grocery shopping. Kensi is also dressed in a beautiful red sundress.

OK, yes I am old enough to make that reference.
