A club does not have to have the full number of athletes to score a team. In the senior races, athletes can count in both the senior and veteran team scoring.
Scoring in the Senior, Veteran and Divisional races will be scored as if run as a separate race. Points from each fixture in each team competition are added together to create a League table.
If a club has only two teams, both in Div 1, all club finishers would count as finishers in Div 1, effectively pushing other finishers in Div 1 further down, but only 24 would score 12 for A, 12 for B.
The Howard Williams Trophies are awarded to reward the strongest overall club in the League for a Senior's b Junior's. Discounting "B" Teams, the winning club in each team competition is awarded the number of points commensurate with the number of member clubs, the second place club in each age group is awarded the number of points commensurate with the number of member clubs less one.

Second claim athletes are permitted to score provided they have been pre-registered with the League. The initial registration date will be 30 September to enable declaration sheets to be updated accordingly for the first fixture. A preliminary list of all registered second claim athletes will be circulated prior to the opening fixture.
Directions From junction 4 on the M40 take the A signposted towards Aylesbury. You will cross 4 roundabouts until you come to a T junction on the A Turn left along the A40 still following signs to Aylesbury. At the next roundabout take the second exit signposted Aylesbury on the A After about 1 mile you will go under a railway bridge and after another mile you will go past the Red Lion pub on the corner of Bradenham Woods Lane continue along the A for another half mile until you see a track on the right, follow this track up and marshals will direct you to park in the field.
Car parking is in the field by kind permission of the local farmer. Any kit can be left at the finish area. The start is about m further up the access road and is about a 10 minute walk, so please ensure you leave enough time to get to the start. Race Administration We will be using discs again this year. Please ensure that you record each of your runners finishing position on your sheets and return the discs to us with the completed sheets. The course is suitable for spikes. It will be almost but not exactly the same as last year's - total 5.
It is a two lap course which goes through woods and farm land. It is not suitable for spikes but will be muddy and hilly!! Car parking will be well signposted and is a little bit of walk from the venue 10 mins maximum. Once you have got to the school please follow sign posts to Sutton Hall where there will be access to toilets and changing areas.
We will also retire here for food and tea afterwards. You will not be allowed to wear shoes inside Sutton hall so please just like we do at Tadley be prepared to take off your shoes and DO NOT give any of our marshals grief. This year the start and finish will again be at the far end of The Brocas to try and avoid conflict with the swans and residents! It worked last year. Please note that there is no parking at the venue and very limited parking in Eton. You can park near our clubhouse Home Park and walk through to The Brocas or you can use the local car parks - the parking beyond the club house is free on Sundays but please be courteous of other park users.

If the rugby is playing a home game it can get very busy and difficult to find spaces. Following several rather irate complaints from residents we will be providing toilets for the race. Please make use of these or the nearby public toilets Home Park, Alexandra Gardens rather than doing anything in public which may jeopardise the future of the race at this venue. The course is not suitable for spikes. Finishing disks will be handed out to the finishers. Please return these disks to your club rep.
The venue is 3 miles from M4 junction 10 and 1. Sat Nav might suggest going through Charvil Ford. DO NOT attempt to cross the ford. This is not a shortcut.
